It's Track Time Again

With JDM'Fest be hide us we are now focused on delivering the value track days humanly achievable! As most of you know the last two track outings were both big days and a lot of fun!

October 20th is the day you will be faking a sickie, and bring your pride and joy out, and stretch it's legs.

**Ultimates JDM'FEST 09 WRAP UP**

Okay so the day really started to kick at about 11am with a big influx of cars arriving from then on.

The Show 'n' Shine had all sorts of JDM metal from DR30's to wide body Evo's and a few hard core Honda's thrown in for good measure. With such a mix of cars and different styling cues it was any one's guess who the Peoples Choice trophy was going home with. after a voting stopped it was a Blue/Green Glitter S14 that took it out.

The FWD class only had four competitors and for a while it looked like a very tasty 147fwkw Accord Euro R was going to have the trophy on his mantel, but Wookie in a Black V6 Magna fitted with a supercharger layed down the impressive 187fwkw figure to take it out.

AWD always looked like going home with a Evo owner, it was just a matter of which one, after a strong 280awkw's from a hot little Evo IV, Chris stepped up and threw down the massive 357awkw's to win the class.

And Finally Nathan in his big white Supra stepped up and put the hammer down on the day taking out the Dyno Dominator and RWD class win with a mammoth 398rwkw's. after having to wait all day to see if anyone was going to take his crown, it came down to a very evil looking 180sx running a 2JZ (in a very similar configuration to Nathan's Beast) to post up the challenge, but for whatever reason it couldn't pip the Supra, so Nathan left with a arm full of trophies and a big smile after his mission completed.

So get tuning cause next year is already set to be big!

**Ultimates JDM'FEST 09 AFTERMATH**

JDM'Fest turned out to be a massive success, with over 100 cars showing up for the show'n'shine and around 55 vehicles spinning the rollers on the day really shows why we needed to hold something like this.

I would firstly like to thank all of my team here at Ultimates for really going all out to make the day as smooth and as easy to be a part of as possible, you all did a fantastic job.

Also a huge thank you to our event sponsors Federal Tyres and Shannons Insurance, who are already locked in for next year.

And lastly all of the those who attended from all your different car clubs and groups thank you for making the day what it was, it's because of you we throw these days and we hope you enjoy them.

Time to bring the shine back on your cars team, for tomorrow is JDM Judgement day!

for those who don't know it will be held at Bellona Court in Phillip, when you get there look for the people directing you as you turn into the court (as it's one way). or anyone with a Ultimate Tunes shirt on, as there is a good chance that they're with us.

Project: V8 HOTLINE Update

With the car physically on it's way down from Mad Hatter Customs in Sydney this morning, I thought I'd share a sneak peak of the HOTLINE as it came out of the spray booth.

You will be able to inspect the work so far, at JDM'FEST where it will be on display, and once things settle down after this weekend's mad panic to get everything sorted. we can get cracking on reassembly, and then maybe project ATE SIX will get the dust blown off her for some serious late night sessions.

see, there really is no rest for the wicked!

Ultimates in ZOOM no138

The newest edition of Zoom (the magazine that puts go before show), will feature two lots of input from us here at Ultimates.

First in the build section has a great shot of our RX-3 wagon, the specs it's running and possible ET, but we also contribute in the feature 10 for 10 article, which is a great read with some of Australia's best tuners throwing in their two cents.

The Magazine hits stands on the 11th, so be sure to grab yourself and your mum a copy!
