WTAC Closing In

Excitment is starting to build for the 2012 WTAC, and thins are getting real, as we see the international teams already in transport, and many Australian teams hitting tracks all over the coutry trying to get every little bit of testing in. This year is playing host to the biggest Pro Class field ever, and with the most international teams yet, there is something for everyone. Whos year will it be? Is Japan going to take the trophy home again, or will the US get revenge? can England Shock the world? Will the Aussies final lay claim to crown. Only Time will tell. Bring on WTAC

Trackday locked In

It has been one busy year, but we have locked in our first trackday for the 18th of July at Wakefield Park.
We are happy to confirm that both Steve Glenny and Bernie webb will be attending the day, offering there experience in driver training. The sessions will be rotated between timed and non timed sessions giving everyone the oportunity to have driver traning and get as many as possible timed laps in. Groups will be broken down to 6 -  8 cars and allowing plenty of room on the track and also, overtaking opertunities.

New goodies for the Ultimate Tunes WRX

Jason Harts WRX this week has seen a box load of new goodies.
These include the Cosworth dry sump, Low mount GT 37/88, Hyperflow intercooler, Turbosmart raceport BOV and Turbosmart 45mm Hypergate. In house custom made exhaust manifold, and exhaust system.

Tuning will be done next week, intime for the next test date in 2 weeks. All is on track for a new PB at Wakefield Park

Mazdaspeed

Over the past month we have been building a MPS 3 that is slightly on the wild side. the engine is near completion with forged internals, balanced and blueprinted and sporting a cosworth drysump. The turbo is a GT 30/71, and this is all controlled by a custom Ecutek Race Rom Tune. The front brake have been upgraded to Brembos, and the diff has also been treated to a Quaife LSD. This MPS will be hitting the streets very soon and will be a force to be rekoned with.

The 2012 World Time Attack is looking bigger and better than ever, with both Open, and Club sprint classes full in less than an hour, and with the biggest Pro class field yet, things are going to go off with a bang. Many teams from last year have already been working tirelesly to be faster than last year, and some amazing new cars being built also. Hurry up August

JZA80 Build Near Completion

Over the past months we have been build a customers JZA80. the car started as a non turbo, and not much going for it. after finding a Donner car to get all the vitals from the build began. completely rebuilt 2JZ, sporting Nitto Rods, JE Pistons, ACL Race Series Bearings Kelford Cams, Billet Main Caps, and much more the engine has been built to be driven with the customer planing on being heavily involved a large array of motor sports. Force feeding the powerplant is a Garrett GT 40/88 Turbo, sitting on a 6 Boost Exhaust manifold. Supply the fuel is some ID 1000cc injectors nicely tucked in a PFI rail. Keeping the intake temps in check is a plazmaman intercooler kit. Keeping all the vitals in check is a Haltech PS2000. Final results will be posted in the following weeks.
