Wake 300 Recap

As most are aware we built an evo track car early in the year with intention to take on events such as the Wakefield 300, and production touring cars and much more. The Wakefield 300 was our debut event with the evo. The car was completed the Friday of  the 300 weekend. On Friday practise the car gave some good signs that it would be a good package. On Saturday the car continued to improve, and in the rain it was one of the faster cars out there, and in finally we qualified 15th for the race. Finally Race day came and we got off to a good start with Pedro taking the first stint, and the car looked very strong, with a couple of safety cars and plenty of on track action we managed to climb to 5th place while still on the lead lap. We pitted on lap 68 and still on the lead lap, unfortunately things to a turn, and the pit stop was quite a long one. We finally got back out after losing 8 laps and being knocked back to 25th, Jason took over the reigns, and did an exceptional job. He climbed back to 12th place while doing his best to conserve fuel as we were running on empty by the time he got the chequered flag. All in all it was an exciting race and a great experience.

75 Build

One of our long term builds has been our 75 Rx3/808 wagon.

It has a 12A Bridgeport, with a TO4Z, Power is transferred through a S5 Rx7 gearbox, and ford diff . Controlling the power plant is a Haltech's catalogue with a PS1000, Boost Solenoid, Exhaust temp sensors, Racepak Dash and much more. Holding this 500+hp wagon on the ground is some 18by 9.5 Koya rims wrapped in some Toyo R888. Slowing the beast down are a set of Brembo's off an Evo 8. In the next couple of weeks the exhaust and fuel system will be finished and then to the dyno with some E85. Stay tuned for updates.
